Mugen Honda City Turbo IIR (c1986)
the City Turbo was the brainchild of Hirotoshi Honda, founder of Mugen and son of Soichiro Honda.
used in a single make racing series, the motors had a larger exhaust, injectors production turbo, intercooler and a modified camshaft to produce 138hp.
the cars from the series were bought by an unnamed Australian entrepreneur with the vision of continuing the series in Australia. unfortunately all the vehicles were in a warehouse in Osaka waiting to be shipped when the Great Hanshin earthquake of 1995 struck and buried the lot.
